Chances are someone's linked his videos on hexbear before, but I recently discovered his channel and felt it was worth a recommend.
Sean Seanson is a retro video game Youtuber with a focus on overlooked and forgotten PS1 games. While he also does videos focusing on a single game, most of his output is videos featuring shorter reviews of multiple games, like going through a single publisher's entire PS1 output. or every PS1 game based on a specific property. He also does a yearly round-up of Japanese-to-English PS1 game translations.
My favourite videos of his are his "Obscure and Forgotten PS1 Games" and "Japan Only PS1 Games" series of videos. Both have him randomly selecting 3 or 4 games, reviewing them and giving them a simple "must play/try/meh/trash" grade at the end, with the Japan-only games series having an additional "no gaijin" grade for games that are unplayable due to the language barrier.
It's a simple concept, but given the PS1 library's sheer size and variety every episode is bound to have something weird and interesting you haven't seen before, or a game you vaguely remember from some long-forgotten PS1 demo disc. If you're someone who still enjoys playing PS1 games, his videos are a great resource for new game recommendations and I've already downloaded many of the games he's featured.
Sean's appreciation for the PS1 era of games really comes through and he approaches even the jankiest games with a fair and positive attitude which gives the videos a nice comfy atmosphere. It also helps that his accent is pleasant to listen to
tldr good videos
