Actually a cool con so far, I don't do a lot of cons because they're usually awful but this has been a cool one overall. So many queers and visibly trans folks everywhere which is awesome. Even had a queer scavenger hunt. I was not expecting the ttrpg community to be so cool based on some previous (long ago) experience. Don't do bad opsec please but if anyone is here or has done one before and knows of something I or others should do let us know!
I'm not, but some of my friends are. Philly has a great queer community. I've been curious to get into ttrpgs, but haven't yet. I'd love it if I could find a queer beginners night or something.
At least here there have been tons of very beginner friendly events and learner events. You do have to sign up for them in advance or get on a day of wait-list. Might be worth a look next year!
