Have all reps in the US parroted a take like this or is fetterman's background as working class mean they think his opinion is supposed to resonate more with the poors?

I am out of the loop when it comes to his popularity. Isn't he widely considered a traitor by the left and a "ragin lib" by the right?

Long way of askin i guess but he's not even like a well-spoken statesman... So who thinks we care?

seems like he's pretty despised by everyone except maybe weird Destiny-adjacent Zionist neolibs

      He isn't even working class:

Eventually they moved to York, Pennsylvania, where Fetterman grew up and his father became a partner at an insurance firm. He grew up in an affluent suburb of York, and his parents were conservative Republicans.

Fetterman has said he had a privileged upbringing. He said he "sleepwalked" as a young adult while playing four years of football in college, intending eventually to take over ownership of his father's business.
