Just started playing and I think I like it better than acting since TF2. Haven't picked a main yet, leaning towards Venom cause he's my favorite character out of the roster. I played a heavy in TF2 so I think I "must push little cart!' again. What do you think of the game? Pick a favorite main yet?
Despise marvel and disney but I'm really loving this game. Overwatch has been my slop game for the last 5 years or so after I dropped it the first time in 2017ish. This game feels like more of the same but with a fresh coat of paint and interesting ideas.
I'm really really loving playing Luna Snow (it helps that she's a cute girl character okay, sue me), and it's funny that I know about as much about her lore as the average marvel fan
Overwatch's latest season just hit today and the main twitch streamer I watch probably isn't going to play it and I know a lot of other OW content creators won't as well. Personally I'm not going to either as the latest balance changes to a few tanks and dive dps on top of a nerf to THE counter-dive support look like they'll make playing support even more stressful and exhausting than it already was last season.
Meanwhile in rivals I can just vibe out while playing luna snow and feeling like I can have some real impact when I have to play more offensive.
Overall, 8/10 needs more girlypop characters and less marvel
It's good! Storm Is a really good Lucio and being able to fly over the map and have an ult that can tko rules.
Tonight, after doing several team wipes using omega hurricane, the other teams Jeff popped his ult and ate his whole team as soon as I used my hurricane and saved his entire team. I had no idea it could be used that way. I'm still kind of stunned lol
can't get it to work on Nobara, I had high hopes glancing at the protondb but it seems like for one in every handful of linux users it's just broken. guess i'll install overwatch 2 instead.
I had to force it to run with Proton Hotfix but since then I haven't had any problems.
yeah annoyingly i got in first try and could get in the practice range and stuff, ctd on queuing into a match, then ctd on the splash screen consistently. tried a good few different proton versions and launch options but no luck. i might try troubleshoot more tomorrow cause the game does look fun. heard bad things about performance though, seems mind boggling that a game like this would be UE5 lol.
