I’m relatively new to leftist politics. My entry was when I stumbled upon the CTH subreddit back when there was like 15k subscribers. I heard Cushbomb ranting about something, and it struck a chord with me. His most recent streams didn’t always have something for me- frankly I’m a dumb kind of guy and some of it was over my head, but the ones that did have something for me were enough to make me think about what he said, and even have the occasional original thought of my own. He helped me to elucidate things mentally that I couldn’t seem to do or do well, on my own.
Most celebrities/internet famous people don’t really make much of a difference to me one way or the other, but I have a special fondness for my ranty boi. Not quite parasocial but if I were to have one with anyone and I weren’t so fucking lazy as well, it’d likely be him.
I’m glad he is feeling well enough mentally and physically to speak into a mic for the public to listen to. Maybe I’m reading it wrong but I don’t guess one would do that if they weren’t doing okay, or something like that. I really hope Matt’s recovery continues, and he is able to be happy.

Ya it's really awesome. He seems better and better. And as much as CTH is imperfect it absolutely moved me left hard and Matt is undoubtedly key in that.
