The password could be changed every n days, and automatically sent to all the non-banned people who have requested it.
The best case scenario would probably be a change to the source code allowing people to make posts that display as Bureau, but are still linked to their real accounts.
Is there a setting to make a comm invite only, like /c/furry, except only people with an invite can see it. Then a bot could post randomized passwords/usernames in a "mega".
The other option is someone (maybe me ) making a bot where users can dm a link to a post, as well as what they want to reply with. That way there is a log of who is making which posts, but it would still be "anonymous" from the outside. I know lemmy doesnt have secure DMs, but if the messages already arent really anonymous that would be less of an issue.
Are you (collective) able to tell me how this and the cat account could be prevented from being used for ban evasion?
As in someone with a hexbear account gets access to Bureaucrat and then gets banned but still has access to the Bureaucrat

That is extra work on the Bureaucrats and can't think of a way to provide oversight Sadly no development can be expected

The answer is no to the first question and your idea could certainly work after the bot is developed
I should have some free time in the next few weeks that I should be able to use to make a bot. Ill message you if I get it working.
Not at all. That is definitely something that is a danger. It's also a danger with every new account that is allowed in.
Every new account has to readmit an application, it's a small step but it is a distinction between this account and the average one
you are arguing with a site admin please stop making a fool of yourself
It's time to just retire the account, by force if necessary. Preferably keeping the posts intact.
