It definitely was in terms of collaborative projects. The combination of patreon and the death of forums killed group volunteer works. Everyone that used to do group passion project work now has some sort of patreon on the go, and because everyone is doing some sort of patreon very few things are copyright infringing because they don't want the corps coming after them, unlike non-profit works.
The name actually made me expect a fighting game, instead it's just another genshin look-alike that will be a gacha shitfest.
