Breaking this dependency will require incentivizing the private sector to find and create alternatives.
lmfao, they can't even conceptualize of the US making it's own equipment
I think this is the "as farce" version of US air command being told to avoid targeting certain US-owned factories during the bombing of Nazi Germany.
Copying klannada once again. Royal Canadian Air Farce, was a sketch comedy show from the 70s until the late 90s.
I may or may not have stolen the joke from that very programme.
anything that disincentives american warmongering is good tho
They do want, but military that in 2019 backed off from war with Iran won't have much chance with China. I hope the Pentagon wasn't purged after that so there is still someone there who can touch grass and see the real chances.
I would watch Occupied Korea though, US might be gearing them up for another proxy war with DPRK, though of course real target would be gauging China response. On the other hand DPRK had signed defensive alliance with Russia so if they wait long enough for war in Ukraine to end it might as well end up with unification of Korea if Russia send their battle hardened army to help.
they have to hurry and kick this thing off before everyone starts shaking off the propaganda now that people are realizing there's just normal people there
also before China absolutely surpasses us in every relevant way.
Eh, they haven't come close to passing us in every relevant field, and not absolutely so in most of the places they have already surpassed us. Give it another decade. Not to discount their progress.
