I love the idea of a bunch of military higher ups having a meeting about to tell their twitch streamers to say in response to this and drawing up PowerPoint slides.
On the one hand, obviously a hilariously bad use of taxpayer money on top of being swamp thing level morality. On the other hand, at least the war criminals who came up with the PR level excuses were not engaged in war crimes for at least a solid hour when they had their insipid meetings about this.
If you add up all the time it took to request, plan, produce, review, present, summarize, distribute, those powerpoint slides, they've probably wasted $100k
