    TBH this makes more sense than all those random high-end sponsors you see in football. For example my team Liverpool FC's sponsor is a finance company called Standard Chartered. I don't even know what the fuck Standard Chartered do. Some fatcat international banking shit? Our older sponsors were a beer company, two home electronics companies, and at one point a local paint company.

    Papa John's Trophy reminds me of the days of the old Coca Cola Cup, Worthington Cup, etc in that it's actually a relevant product to the (traditionally) working class viewership of football. You scum like soft drinks and beer, right? Buy my overpriced pizza while you're at it. At least the capitalist predators are laid bare.
