at least the fire nation colonies get turn into the united republic instead of geting annex by the fire nation, but it still makes no sense for the Earth Kingdom to just exile all people with Fire nation blood from the earth kingdom, like its constantly stated the EK is the most diverse nation, with water benders in the south, but some fire benders are to much i guess
FN were settlers colonialists. After 100 years of oppresion and stealing lands and small scale genocide, FN will obviously piss and moan about "but those are my lands now get over it" while keep treating the natives like second class citizens, but the natives would be really pissed and would want their lands back, so they might start doing some Jet-style things were they start attacking civilians. So even from a "let's keep the peace" point of view, yeah, go back to your fucking volcanic islands if you don't want to integrate.
