I remember watching a news clip which had some woman from San Francisco explaining that while she is 'very liberal', every day that she leaves her home and sees shit from a homeless person left on the sidewalk in front of her home that she becomes 'less liberal' every day.

Which says everything that needs to be known about her and most liberals. They won't question why a human being is left with no choice but to defacate on the sidewalk and why they don't have adequate housing or facilities and what should be done about it, but will quickly draw the conclusion that there should finally be some solution to the homeless question.

"I fully support the economic system that lead to these conditions, but when I see the results of the economic system I support I think we should enact overt fascism so I don't have to see the results of the economic system I support!"

Love me, love me, love me, I'm a liberal!

"Wouldn't it be great if we could concentrate some of these undesirables into camps?"

According to Mirror-Universe-born Lorca's worshipful praise of my-hero in Discovery canon, we're more like the timeline of the Mirror Universe, right now. doomer

How do so many events have parallels with different outcomes that still have followup events that can also have different outcomes? what-the-hell

I mean, the appropriate reaction to daily, intimate reminders of the failures of liberalism is to become less and less liberal.
