It's probably time for a new one of these.

NE-2 went to Biden so a tie is unlikely unless he loses NV so stop posting about that.

Other admins, please replace this when there is a result. I'm going to bed.

And it won't be open again until every single one of your lib VOTES is counted!

The 🇱🇷 2020 🇱🇷 American 🇱🇷 Presidential 🇱🇷 Elections 🇱🇷 are the single most important political event since The Last Fascist was VOTED 🔫 OUT 🔫. We on the admin team see it as our duty to enforce the views of our audience by any parasocial means necessary.

As a nacho-socialist cabal, we see no path to revolution other than by focusing the majority of our leisure time on consuming bougie media. Media that is obsessed with the details of an election we decided our preferences on months ago, if not years ago. Here's the bottom line: Voting makes you a good person and not voting makes you a bad one. Don't believe us? Just ask Lenin:

A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell (through the Palchinskys, Chernovs, Tseretelis and Co.), it establishes its power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeois-democratic republic can shake it.

We must also note that Engels is most explicit in calling universal suffrage as well an instrument of bourgeois rule. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. Universal suffrage, he says, obviously taking account of the long experience of German Social-Democracy, is "the gauge of the maturity of the working class. It cannot and never will be anything more in the present-day state."

See? We can't let capital take control of this "very best shell"! Turtles belong to the people! And the way we do that is by voting for posts.

Imagine having an education that cost your parents £24,000 a term and then having to Google who said "do not go gentle into the goodnight" on our phone , live on TV because you've never heard of it before and nor have the other two privately educated tories

Lee Rowley (tory vice chairman) just did this and I cant get over it. My school was free. Dylan Thomas was my hero at one point.

I have a BA in history (lol) and I’m shocked every day at how little I was taught about history the whole way through. The primary education was just an absurd jumble of half-truths, whereas the complete lack of focus needed to get a college degree meant you just took whatever class you were lucky enough to get into (before it filled up) and hope the professor was good enough to actually make some of the info stick. There was never an overarching theory or underlying guidance to the discipline, just a collection of cherrypicked dates and factoids to memorize just long enough to get a decent grade on the next exam.

my favorite dylan thomas bit was referring to his(and mine) hometown as ' an ugly, lovely town'

These days most people call it a pretty shitty city

There's two Welsh people on here? Damn, sup. I'm from the opposite side to you though (Llangollen/Wreham way). I Skipped school once to drag the girl I was dating to Swansea so I could see the Dylan Thomas museum. Good times but I do remember Swansea being really empty for a well known city, having said that.

I always liked "Land of my fathers. And they are welcome to it." which was Dylan Thomas go to response when asked about Wales, deliberately trying to annoy nationalists who wanted him to write in Welsh or join "the cause".

He would also pretend he couldn't speak Welsh at all because he didnt want to get commissions for national eisteddfod work after the popularity of "A Child's Christmases in Wales"
