I have a BA in history (lol) and I’m shocked every day at how little I was taught about history the whole way through. The primary education was just an absurd jumble of half-truths, whereas the complete lack of focus needed to get a college degree meant you just took whatever class you were lucky enough to get into (before it filled up) and hope the professor was good enough to actually make some of the info stick. There was never an overarching theory or underlying guidance to the discipline, just a collection of cherrypicked dates and factoids to memorize just long enough to get a decent grade on the next exam.

My primary concern with these results is that an R senate with a mandateless basically guarantees there will be no stimulus for those of us nearing homelessness.
Might genuinely hurt people more than if trump just won the thing at this point. A lot of us were waiting for this stupid election to be over so they’d send us some rent money. Now I’m not sure that will happen at all.
Most of us are in states that voted blue anyway lol.

Wont work I don’t think. The numbers just flat out disprove this. I don’t think there’s a single state where all the 3rd party votes going to a main candidate would have flipped the result.

A mandateless Biden presidency and a Republican senate pretty much guarantees minimal if not zero additional financial aid coming in federally, so that kind of sucks. Homelessness doesn’t seem like it’s going to be fun.
