It's at like a $30 markup over pre-COVID pricing, but in stock without an FFL fee.
There was never really a need for home security that I couldn't already do with my AR, I didn't think they were fun to shoot, and I hadn't wanted to do any waterfowl hunting so the utility of them was lost on me. In January when I started really thinking in terms of worst case scenarios for the pandemic, I decided that I should finally get a shotgun but made the mistake of budgeting my gun purchases for later in the spring. By the time I had enough to buy both a handgun and a shotgun outright, 9mm was no longer available and the only shotguns which didn't sell out immediately were Turkish budget guns or $500+ ones that were overkill for my needs. I've been waiting for months to pounce on a Maverick 88 or a Mossberg 500 and finally I'll have one just in time for it to be too cold outside to shoot.
No such thing as too cold too shoot.
Think Murphy's law, but add in the cold.
