I’m sure the hardware has more rigorous QA because you can’t just patch it, but I still think it’s crazy to expect no issues on a first run. link

Exactly. Even a look at every modern console release should show people why not to buy the launch model. Especially since there's no killer next gen games yet, and probably won't be for a year.
