I'm trying to use it with crusader kings 2. most of the links I've found just have downloads without instructions, and I've downloaded a bunch of stuff but idk what I'm supposed to do with it. like what folder do i have to put it in? am I supposed to replace things that are already in the game folder? do i have to change anything? what all do I need?
edit: i figured it out thank you
idk how to get that autoscript to run, but this is actually really helpful because at least now i know what to do with the files i downloaded lol

yeah idk maybe I'm just a dummy but I can't get it to work so maybe I'll try to set that up
Python is a scripting/programming language. If you don't need it, the manual install is fine. Apparently, that github page Uncle_Hoe links does not provide the physical .dll files you'd need to manually put in for the manual install (despite giving manual install instructions. The fuck?) There's been a few manual downloads of the .dll linked in around here. I've seen it in the fighting game sale thread. Look around for those. But all you have to do is right click on the game you want to use these on, rename two files (steam_api.dll + steam_api64.dll) but right-clicking on them, adding a "_o" between the "api.dll" for those files, copy-paste in the cream api .dll's (which will be named what you renamed already) and you should be good to go on that.
i already had the dll files i just didn't what to do with them, and then after i moved them to the right folder i realized that i had to get the actual dlc files to make it work (duh). but now that I understand the whole process it's a lot easier than i originally thought lol.
Just make sure whatever you use it for doesn't have anti-cheat/online you want to play on. Someone warned that non-VAC (and probably VAC eventually which would be a bigger deal) flags it and will get you banned.
