Me and few other people from the old sub put together a Spotify playlist for leftist music that we’ve been regularly updating since:

Feel free to add whatever you like

I believe they are mostly anarchists. The music is instrumental, but the art work, song titles and spoken word passages have a very obvious anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist message. Their last album had these "demands" in the liner notes:

        • an end to foreign invasion

        • an end to borders

        • the total dismantling of the prison–industrial complex

        • healthcare, housing, food and water acknowledged as an inalienable human right

        • the expert fuckers who broke this world never get to speak again

There are vocals in one of the GY!BE side projects, Silver Mount Zion, where the politics are much more obvious and transparent. They're worth checking out too IMO though the vocalist (Efrim) is an acquired taste.

Their music and samples include lots of left wing themes.

Recommend you start with the Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada EP

I can't get enough of Bad Religion's close harmonizing. Best part of their music.

    Jpegmafia - communist slow jams

JPEGMAFIA x Freaky - I Might Vote 4 Donald Trump

Kate Tempest - Europe Is Lost has a super cool video, a little lib in places though

Lowkey is great. Check out Iraq2Chile, his anti obama song, terrorist, but all his stuff is pretty good politically, often musically.

this is a good french song making fun of white nationalists.

    A letter to Jeremy Corbyn

Taiwanese communist rap (w/ english subtitles) || "Your So-Called Freedom and Democracy" by 鍾翔宇 (aka Xiangyu)

Clem Snide - Ballad of David Icke

And you probably know this one, but Tracy Chapman - Talking about a Revolution

One of my favorite verses ever is Stef on "Marathon"

Respect given where it’s livin / peace to non-violents populating the prisons / Bag a dicks follow the money track / chew on that if you profit off of somebody’s back / Atlas with the standards / sickle sharp and red as fuck with my hammer / chisel tippin, chisel chippin, shaping scenery / hit the prism, catch a vision, whiff of unity / Let em dip and sweat and trip out on the tryptamines / instead of feelin it’s better livin through chemistry / or prolly extra feelin everything / Hyperrealing the fuck outta nights because days sting / and playthings save sentiments / pain brings them same things to resent and quit / So it’s chest fulla broke toys / and no noise is loud enough to drown me / Got ya boy turning every knob to the right / every button with an arrow up crushed / til my vision is bright white / Mute the dialogue, watch the lips move / change the script around, make that bullshit tight / I been a real self-starter / found myself swimmingly, real hot water / since I was young I seem to feel this harder / these guys are fucking kidding me / world made for larpers / I tend to ghost, knapsack, arrow, and stealth / fulla mean and a copy of Health is in You! / Sometimes it be like that / just gotta put the pipe down and get your feelings back / ya heard kids, spitting on teens / pulling down cloud nine, pissing on dreams / shitting on em, it’s real bodily for me right now / I’m bout to body somebody and barf / every fluid cept the good one / Giver everyday til every city is in ruins / Bash til I’m burger / Hashtag No Kings, crash y’alls server

But I also have a giant playlist I use when I hit the gym full of shit that gets me hyped up.

Spotify if you fuck with it

It's all hip hop if you fuck with it. Might need to pare it down at some point or add something new. Shits dope though

Christian Fitness (can’t find a streaming platform, found them on YouTube or buy direct from the band) and despite being a little on the nose, The Future of the Left. Both are heavey alternative rock type bands with a bit of the ‘ol Touch and Go sound for good measure.
