As someone who escaped the benzo trap, I feel like I'm allowed to make this joke. Addiction is a disease and we should only make fun of it when it happens to sanctimonious reactionary douchebags.

Well idk. If my hair was less massive I'd look almost exactly like Ben Shapiro but it's still super fun to make fun of him like that. Jordan Peterson accused people about their addictions, him being addicted to benzos is pretty ironic and funny. Of course there are limits.

Well then feel free to debate Jordan Peterson or Ben Shapiro or yokels arming to kill you in some kind of marketplace of ideas. They should feel validated in their beliefs of racial and masculine and moral superiority. They should want to be on our platforms and we should want to see Nazi bullshit alongside regular content.

Back in the subreddit days, if a fascist posted there was one response. It didn't matter what they said, it didn't matter what they thought of themselves or how much effort they put into their idea. The moment they posted a dozen people spammed them with "post hog". What is the insinuation there? Either that their fragile masculinity is a target and masculinity is tied to the size of their penis or that their fragile heterosexuality is a target and homosexuals fulfill the old stereotype of preying on heterosexuals. What I don't remember is a wave of posts from men with small penises or men who identify as heterosexual complaining that they felt under assault. They had basic reading comprehension skills and could see that the person targeted wasn't being targeted for being the only straight man on reddit. When I as a heterosexual spammed them with "post hog", it didn't make me feel like I was next on the chopping block and it didn't suddenly mean I wanted to see their wonky dick because the intention wasn't to collect dick pics. It was to create an environment so overwhelmingly hostile to fascists that they stopped posting there. What I do remember is not seeing their usernames post twice and that community remaining one of the few places on reddit where the most marginalised people weren't being harassed. Maybe an addict will personally identify with Jordan Peterson on that one specific level and feel hurt but weigh that against the number of people targeted any time he posts and the impact of him targeting them. His very existence and every word he says is an assault on multiple groups so fuck his junkie ass.
