    Since the referendum, I've swung from a 'No' EU lib to a 'Yes' Socialist.

    And I know many, many others who feel similar. It's time for independence!

        Most do, sure. But it probably wouldn't happen automatically and would immediately be the new political issue / big question.

          Spain would veto them joining anyway because they're scared Catalonia will declare independence.

          Unrelated but what is your name a reference to? I remember reading years ago about a small group of poor whites in the Caribbean that are descendant from indentured servants called Red Legs.

            catalonian parliament did declare independence, in 2017

            the spanish gov and the eu ignored it and basically just said "lol no ur still spain shut up you cant just be independant lolol"

            My hope is the EU project will be an obvious failure by the time any agreement could be hammered out.

            The name is just two words thrown together. Sounds interesting, I'm going to look into that!

              The redlegs are interesting for sure if you want to understand colonialism and "whiteness" as a concept. The thing that sucks is that white supremacists are like half of the people talking about them because of Irish slavery and miscegenation discourse lol.
