Metal Gear is one of those things that would probably be better as a miniseries (or limited series as the yoots say these days)

Do you ever think that the reason Kojima makes games instead of movies is because every time he writes a single scene it ends out feature-length?
The man very much strikes me as the sort of guy who watched a lot of movies as a kid
Undoubtedly, his brain just kind of plots everything out as a film, just loaded to the gills with bombastic excess

4 hour movie, bring back intermissions.
Last I heard it was still in the works to be a movie, but they've been trying to get that going for years now.
