    "Rusks" are slices of twice baked bread, and it is a common dish throughout the world. Crispy bread would be fairly familiar for most people.

        =bidk if bread is ever fried or grilled tbh, but it looks like rusk is just a very simple bread that is baked twice. Sometimes, the bread that is used for it is stale or hgg old
