"Rusks" are slices of twice baked bread, and it is a common dish throughout the world. Crispy bread would be fairly familiar for most people.

=bidk if bread is ever fried or grilled tbh, but it looks like rusk is just a very simple bread that is baked twice. Sometimes, the bread that is used for it is stale or hgg old

its been a while since i last visited pakistan but pizza hut there genuinely is good. like my family during ramadan once reserved like 4 tables and we invited 20 people from the family to dinner there. for some reason franchise food is actually good outside of north america.
unfortunately fast food is also the only restaurant food that doesn't get me sick all the time in pakistan, otherwise id be eating streetfood naan and chicken tikka all day
I have no basis for this but I assume they use ingredients that are more similar to food than to packaging outside of the states

There are a lot of people who think the west is better than it really is, mostly from movies and the like.
Also, I don't know this guy's background, but Pakistan isn't exactly a wealthy nation. When you're surrounded by real poverty, i.e. people not having enough to eat, being able to eat greasy salty food whenever you want would seem like a luxury.
