those can be completely separate groups of ppl though, plenty of casual Skyrim/GTAV gamers just heard about the game this month and decided to pick it up based on marketing/hype, OP's post specifically singled out ppl on last gen consoles being upset when the game they bought doesn't work properly like it's their fault for expecting their $60 game to run on the system they own
Fair comment. If the game doesn't run properly on older consoles they should have at least put up a PSA about that or not released on those platforms at all.

it also doesn't run well on PC hardware the majority of gamers have according to Steam stats since noone has a 3070 yet
