    They might have a chance if they excelled at internal discipline, doctrinal brilliance, and if their opponents hadn’t been fighting imperial wars of conquest for decades.

      I don’t know about the tactical skill and doctrine of the Chinese navy, but they would have to require someone like Yi Sun-sin in order to defeat the American Navy at this stage.
