Rick Roufus was a very successful American kickboxers with 28 wins but has only fought under the full contact rule set of no elbows, leg strikes, knees and kicking above the waist. That didn't stop him from challenging a Muay Thai kickboxer to a fight. Muay Thai allows elbows, knees, leg strikes and throws. Despite being knockdown twice and suffering a broken jaw Changpeuk won the bout by tko by overwhelming Roufus with leg kicks to the point of having to go to the hospital with severe leg injuries. In fact it almost ended his career.
