I'm completely convinced that any time someone starts trying to whip out logical fallacies that they are no longer worth discussing anything with, ever.
I have never once had a discussion with a real live person who, mid conversation, shouted HOLD ON. THAT'S A NO TRUE SCOTTSMAN or other such bullshit. Never. And if they did, anyone and everyone who heard them would immediately think they've lost it. Real discussions happen with real people who just...talk about things. Share opinions. Bounce ideas off each other. Discuss facts as they see them. People who think that the only valid way to discuss is by using Pure Logic are absolutely insufferable and also completely wrong.
