Oh how awesome! I really wanted to get into BJJ but all the places in the small town I lived were full of guys and I didn't really want to roll with some cops & chuds as a lil' lady. I think judo is a super effective self defense tech as a toss and run is the best tactic to deal with a street altercation besides seeing it and avoiding it altogether.
I can only imagine getting into it if you aren’t a cis man is intimidating
