It will never stop boggling my mind how much damage the inventor of leaded gas (and CFCs!) and his big chemical supporters have done to the planet. I mean, to have 1 invention alone be responsible for both harming the atmosphere AND melting the brains of half of an entire fucking generation is astounding.

yes, but he also killed himself so it's impossible to say whether he was good or bad
But he didn't intentionally, it was an accident. With his own invention, no less. So I think we can argue that he made at least 1 good invention.
