Like when shit was really starting to go down and was totally decadent. I was recommended The Satrycon by Petronius and told it was really funny. I am interested in this for obvious reasons.

Juvenal's Satires. Martial is pretty funny too but Juvenal is a masterpiece of mocking both the moralistic and the outrageously corrupt
ETA I like Niall Rudd's translation but Susanna Braund's is good for her introduction (and that one is the Loeb edition that has Persius as well, and Persius is fun.) the Oxford paperback translation of Martial is solid, but jokes are harder to translate for obvious reasons.
