Cola: Dr. Pepper

Non-Cola: Cherry (Which is unfortunately rare where I live)

Creme soda, especially the ones where the vanilla flavour comes through so it somehow tastes like melted vanilla ice cream but a soda. In South Africa, it's traditionally bright green (known as the "green ambulance", when consumed by hungover people) but I've found it in all kinds of colours overseas. The bright pink Canadian one is my favourite.

Something I haven't had in years. When I lived in Japan I loved cold bottled green tea at home or on the street from the ever-present vending machines especially in summer. Popular Japanese Tea Varieties - Enjoy Natural Sweetness. It's all unsweetened.

I suppose I could find it near me but I assume it costs an arm and a leg.

It's an acquired taste. I absolutely hated it he first time I had it. But when I came back to the US typical soda seemed disgustingly sweet.

I've seen these at my local asian grocer on the west coast and have had some. They're great.

Now that it's on my mind - I'm going to have to buy some and fairly soon. I wonder what I'd think if I bought natto too. In Japan I grew to sort of like it. But now it has been such a very long time since I've had it - it might have become an unacquired taste for me.

Nattō (納豆) is a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans that have been fermented... It is often served as a breakfast food. It is served with karashi mustard, soy or tare sauce, and sometimes Japanese bunching onion. Nattō is often considered an acquired taste because of its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky, slimy texture. Within Japan, nattō is most popular in the eastern regions, including Kantō, Tōhoku, and Hokkaido, and a 2009 survey revealed that 70.2% of Japanese people find the taste pleasant, and others who may not find the taste of the food pleasant still eat it for health benefits.

Natto is hardcore. If you do try it - at first try a tiny bit mixed into something you like - like eggs or whatever. Even a tiny bit might make you go "Holy crap - what the fuck! People like this?"

Real Ginger Ale. Not the shit you get in soda fountains, but the real stuff that is sweet and spicy and bubbly and mellow. It's awesome

    Lemon, ginger ale and colas.

I almost only use soda as mixers though.

Sprecher's root beer or ginger beer (any cRaFt variety, they're all so different and unique and I'm here for it). Currently have one that comes in a jar and taste like Christmas and another in a bottle with enough ginger to melt you sinuses and I love it.
