Then they usually go for a "villain wants to kill 7 billion people because lolevil" arc to make it clear that the good guys do not fight back against their opressors, but instead ally with the ruling class.

During the lifetime of great revolutionaries, the oppressing classes constantly hounded them, received their theories with the most savage malice, the most furious hatred and the most unscrupulous campaigns of lies and slander. After their death, attempts are made to convert them into harmless icons, to canonize them, so to say, and to hallow their names to a certain extent for the “consolation” of the oppressed classes and with the object of duping the latter, while at the same time robbing the revolutionary theory of its substance, blunting its revolutionary edge and vulgarizing it.

there was a plan to make a X-men origins: Magneto movie, so fox wanted to make an origins movie for famous x-men characters but because of the then writers strike and that wolverine origins movie was terrible and didnt do as well in box office it was canned.

its original script influenced the script of first class, i believe the nazi hunter scene is actually from there

Magneto is how a lib would write a revolutionary. You've got to have him indulging in sadism in little individualistic acts of violence instead of standing in the front lines of a revolutionary movements bending the fascist guns in to knots across the entire front line.
