idk, it can be kind of cozy to just bunker down and listen to someone ramble and get into the thick of something while you browse the internet.
I'd make an effort at watching it, because i really loved that game. Even if Kojima is not a "good" writer in the conventional sense, and even if his understanding of American politics only bears a passing resemblance to the real animal, it's such an elaborate and bizarre system of thought that it would be possibly entertaining to hear someone try to unwind it.
If you're looking for an overly long review of Death Stranding I'd recommend Noah Caldwell-Gervais'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJAhH3IdQ4w
He's one of the few who do long form reviews that aren't a complete waste of time. Most of these youtube idiots just spend 3 hours reading the stats off of every item in the game.
Yeah he gets all lit crit with it, it's really interesting. Also has a great NPR voice.
i doubt it's necessary, but i bet they go in some really stupid circles
Death Stranding is one of my favorite games ever and Kojima is one of my favorite video game directors. That being said, it'll be a cold day in hell before I watch in 8 hour video essay on anything, let alone a fucking video game.
Is this that "theory" that everyone is telling to read all the time?

The history of jumping in vibeo gaymes (and why its important)

Why would I watch this when I can watch the seven hour long Pokémon Omega Ruby review instead?
The game's about forty I wanna say, but if it takes you 7 hours to review it then you're doing a very poor job.
Yea I skipped that one - but his 2 hour long darksiders 2 video is actually a fucking masterpiece
I tend to watch this kind of thing to fall asleep, watch 10-20 minutes as I doze off, and pick it up the next night. Idk, long form game criticism - which comes very close to just summarizing a video game you've played - is kind of relaxing.
You'd be suprised, I watched Joseph Anderson's review of Naughty Dog's games prior to Uncharted 4, which was over 4 hours long and I've already played all of the games prior to watching the video
Make the same post about K-pop and we can have a real struggle session.
