Theres been a recent trend of retro PS1 era/early xbox graphics in indie games, I really dig it too. It's better than just another pixel art game if only because it's different.

I don't know if it has, like, an official name yet near as I can tell it's called "low-poly" or some variation. Theres a youtube let's play no commentary guy Alpha Beta Gamer that has quite a backlog if you want to just check out the aesthetic, they're mostly micro indie games.
