Napalm Death's first John Peel Session is still king along with Terrorizer's World Downfall. Plutocracy fucking rips, west bay very fucking dangerous hoodrat grind. G-Anx, very early Swedish grind with like...Pink Floyd kinda parts...it sounds weird but they make it work. Atavistic is an early crust band that had some grindy leanings. Agathocles from Belgium have been around since 1988 and will literally do a split with anyone, just e-mail them. The Endless Blockade, I guess maybe counts as powerviolence as incorporate harsh noise. Sore Throat are a classic and invented noisegrind. There's so many bands. I lean very very hard towards the punk side of grind, the more metal end can be super reactionaryand I'm just not that into death metal.
Also the band I was in in 2015 is great as well.
