    When you also factor how certain environmental factors (like those caused by microplastics) can disproportionately affect minorities which also result in endocrine disruptors, it becomes necessary to diminish the status of the Europeanised standard of beauty. The societal precondition is not only dangerous for mental health (since it can lead to feelings of societal exclusion), but for physical health as well. I think this should be an area of focus for many leftists, as this illustrates both the callous nature of capitalism, and the necessity of a removing the systems which disempower our minority comrades.
