i keep putting 'a' in sentences instead of 'and' because i speak czech. theres something weird in my head that causes me to blurt out tiny czech words instead of english, but only while typing. not long ones, though.
I love when people do this bc I can usually tell the function of a word without needing any explanation.
i speak russian as well as english and sometimes I literally translate english phrases when talking cuz I cant think of the russian equivalent lol (sometimes there is no russian equivalent)
i do this all the time and my grandparents are like 'what the fuck are you saying'
I keep using random German phrases in speech and people just look at me strange. "Genau" doesn't really have an english equivalent. Luckily half my friends are actors/singers and to be a classical singer here basically means "learn german, leave country."
Supposedly learning to read and write in two languages with the same script makes your brain incredibly powerful, eventually.
Since you speak Czech, you should totally make a Czech language practice thread. There may be some other Czech Chapos out there.
I made the Russian thread and I'm very much a beginner. I got it wrong once or twice, but that helped me learn. I think you should consider it.
If it's when you're typing, I think it's muscle memory. I do a similar thing with shorter words that are contained within other common words which I type all the time, because my fingers automatically want to hit certain keys
