Fair enough, OpenMW is a rebuilt engine for it that gets rid of a lot of old bugs plus improves stability and adds a bunch of improvements

Yes Morrowind is the best game ever made. I’ve never played an rpg that has captured me so completely. Music and art still stand up to this day. Morrowind, especially with mods, has a strange beauty that is unusual for the ugly games of its time. Despite the horrific character models and other wonky graphics, I’ve had my breath taken away by the sun rising over the ocean on Vvardenfell. I’ve felt my skin crawl exploring the sixth house bases. The atmosphere that this game creates is second to none. No other game has built a world that can feel so alive even though everyone is just standing in place shouting at you when you walk by. Fuck I love this game, fuck the N’wahs at bethesda for turning the elder scrolls into the godawful excuse for an rpg that was skyrim.
