    Little insight for why he claimed to never have spent a cent, it's because sometimes (or at least up to like 2018 from people I know) lots of corruption charges if they weren't too big could kind of go away if you coughed up all the money you embezzled and or got in bribes. This guys take was way too big and he's not in a favorable position with the ruling factions of the party.

        It's also incredibly embarrassing to the party that this guy didn't get slapped during the entire 2012 to 2017 anti-corruption campaign.
