I mean, it’s a show where they spend 2 hours reading a Wikipedia article and making dumb jokes and when the article ends they are just “well, that’s that” and the episode just ends without them going to any real detail.
I really like subject matter and the hosts and their unique perspectives but lately their episodes have become increasingly phoned in and devoid of any real substance.
They almost always going through historical material reasons for what led up to the point of the disaster (companies cutting corners, not paying workers, lack of gov oversight or no ability to punish companies, etc).
It's long af and it's not everyone's cup of tea, which is fine, but I feel like saying they just read the wikipedia article is disingenuous.
