One of the early levels called "Prison" was a metaphor for my mind trying to escape its clutches. I spent 40 mins and then had to look it up.

However, playing this game is much more fun than staring at the blinking cursor that is my lack of motivation to learn Python.

That game is designed to make you feel stupid for half an hour, and then really smart for ten seconds, and then repeat.

I find it's easier to be motivated to code/learn code when working on something personally useful and/or meaningful rather than just following tutorials.

Having a mentor, teammate, or end user that you care about helps as well.

Python isn't my specialty but I would love to teach comrades how to program somehow.

me irl except that I know how to code I'd just rather steal time from my employer (and my own passion projects) than do it

I love this game but im absolutely terrible at it. Its like a metaphor for my life and I feel personally attacked, frankly

I played it until I got stuck and then never came back.

I feel like at a certain point the puzzles started to rely too much on timing things correctly rather than just putting them in the right place, and that wasn't as much fun for me.
