I know, right? The last few years have just been a slow burn horror reveal of Liberalism tearing away it's skin and underneath is just a screaming red skill

I don't think people appreciate enough just how hard this war is "Westernizing" Ukraine. Ukraine has, between the end of the USSR and now, been pretty starkly divided on western and revisionist outlook arguably partially due to a successful russification effort starting with Catherine and culminating with Stalin, but also that a transition to capitalism introduces a culture shock that people who aren't used to market economies haven't adapted to yet and can be mismanaged to empower the same politburo from before but as a class of industrial plutocrats, and just the simple fact that westernization is affiliated with becoming more socially progressive, which is a growing pain for any society. Embracing social progress in return for access to the west's wealth is a hard sell for a lot of people who would rather be poor but proud of their Nazi grandpa (East and West Germany give us a clear test tube example that eastern bloc states generally have denazified less aggressively than NATO founders).

What? Where did any of this come from? Did someone just type random letters on a phone keyboard and let autocorrect fill it in? Why do I keep clicking these reddit links?

I got curious whether the person who wrote this could pass the turing test and am now experiencing true horror. The person seems to understand many of the facts that made us turn away from western imperialism and became communists for, and yet instead of seeing a conflict, they steadfastly support neoliberalism and its backing of fascism at every turn. They're quite well aware of how liberal regimes are backing fascist atrocities and fighting communists for hypocritical reasons and that policy changes happened for capitalist interest despite human lives that cost.

I hope this is a comrade playing the long game for fun or something, because if not, if this person is at all a respresentitive of the mindset of the western liberal, there may be no hope but to starve them out.

I mean except the bit in the end, that the “west denazified much more aggressively than the east” which is completely absurd….. I have no idea how someone can ever believe that.

A deeper investigation has showed me that this guy, a self-proclaimed narcissist, seems to think they shit gold and their farts smell of roses. A huge part of neoliberalism is that everyone's a stupid piece of shit, so it checks out.

When your brain is riddled with worm holes, contradictions don't matter

These are the people who believe that the USSR was completely ineffective fighting Nazis to the point where they were sending people into battle with shovels or w/e to get slaughtered, that they butchered every Nazi they caught, that Stalin purged 500 million people, that after WWII somehow the USSR's feelings on Nazis were not insanely negative (and that the purges didn't kill loads of sympathizers), and they were 'less effective' at denazification then the countries which literally imported Nazis to stick into powerful positions

I want to make a mem of prominent liberals with bleeding eyes crowned in iron spikes, with a giant burning symbol of Khorne behind them, and the caption "This is what liberals actually believe" but I am tired. : |

It's been wild watching liberals conclude that the concept of Russia and Russian people need to be exterminated. They see Russia as like a glitch in reality. It's not exaggeration to say they see Putin as a magical demon from another dimension. They think of Russia as a set of negative character traits or a scary devil in the clouds instead of just a normal boring capitalist country that runs on oil.

Also I say this as someone who wants death to America

This could’ve all been avoided if they

      1. Not select an alcoholic for their puppet leader who deferred to Putin or
      2. Let Putin join NATO and let him help with capitalist imperialism

But because Russia survived all their attacks and coups and challenged them as a superpower through 3 fucking eras of government and ideology, their ego is shattered

There could have been a version of 1991 where the western powers immediately rushed in to write the Russian Confederation's constitution in tandem. I think they did something like this but clearly they weren't thinking straight.

They could have made it a more overt puppet state and ended up with an ally like Japan or South Korea, maybe that's what they were hoping for and that it would happen naturally, I don't know. They could have further encircled China and had a huge neoliberal ally full of oil and cheap unprocessed copper.

But no, out of spite or lack of strategy or something, they had to go and make Russia into a geopolitical rival. I'm very confused about why the imperialists did that or what they were thinking. It led exactly to this moment.
