Recently we have had some posts about being impoverished. If there's enough interest, maybe we should have a comm for poverty.
There is a subreddit for personal finance for impoverished people called r/povertyfinance. It's pretty good because the regular personal finance subreddit was full of advice that's only relevant to your typical bourgie r*dditor.
Someone previously requested c/finance so if that's created, maybe we should just have c/poverty instead of c/povertyfinance. Any suggestions?
So we can post screenshots of money management apps and say "look comrades! I'm no longer poor because of my personal fortitude and this app!" And everybody will cheer and still be poor and buy more apps?
no so we can post ways for people to make a little money when desperate in ways that don't suck.
