Needless to say, the final authority of the command structure in China rests with the General Secretary of the party, Xi Jinping, who is also the chief of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the president of the country, a concentration of power and authority wielded only by Chairman Mao Zedong

lmfao the President of the United States is simultaneously the leader of their party, commander-in-chief, and head of state

"The United States is also a one-party state. It is just that, with typical American extravagance, they have two of them."

They look at the number and think 2>1. They don't put any further thought into it

Living in Texas, where every statewide rep, most judicial seats, and a majority of municipal reps are Republican. Seats are heavily gerrymandered. It's a constant fight for liberals to even vote. And the police violently corral any significant assemblage of black people protesting for civil rights.

Love my bourgeois liberal democratic two-party system.

Just to be accurate, the president is not in leadership of their respective party actually.

In fact figuring out who is in charge of the dems as a party apparatus is rather complicated.
