Please stop making fun of people for being cishet. It’s tough because I’m a leftist, I love this site, and I work hard to be a good person and practice good praxis, but I’m also 28 and a cishet. Watching Y’all make fun of people for being cis or calling people cissies really hurts.

Cissie here. Please don't be the sort of person who polices the language of the oppressed. Being the target of transphobia will always hurt more than someone calling you a cissie in an off-handed way.

Let people blow off steam if they need to, and you just need to accept that the way you feel when they do is just the single downside of privilege.

I don't believe in policing their language, however unironically I am really sensitive and it does always hurt my feelings. I'm not saying I think they shouldn't be able to, but I do wish it wouldn't happen. Same goes with the jokes about men or being white. It just feels like I'm trying to be a good ally, but none of that counts due to stuff I can't control. And I get there's bigger things to worry about and I'm overwhelmingly lucky, but... Idk

It's okay to have hurt feelings. You don't need to be ashamed of your feelings, they are what they are. However, that's that you know? Your feelings are hurt, ok move on now.

I still contend that calling someone cissie means well and is good way to hurt chuds but it feeds into bourgeois homonormativity and libshit that equates femininity with weakness. This post will be removed
