It's a terrible attempt at sushi bc I made it while already fairly plastered, but it consists of rice, pickled onions, radishes and canned tuna. I accidentally poured soy sauce in my wine glass. My dog is looking at me like I'm an utter lunatic. I am probably, I am probably going to bed soon. Just wanted to say that I despise the kinds of mother fuckers who pretend to be woke, wrt colonialism but purely advocate symbolic or minor changes, never looking at the material changes. No amount of nomenclature changes will stop deeply rooted economic subjugation. Liberalism is a hell of a drug. Death to America.

The tuna is my first non vegan meal in about 2 weeks. I am not there yet, but I am happy to be making progress

    • what kind of pupper?

    • is there a vegan staple dish that has made the transition easier for you? what is it and how so?

    • tell us about your most recent - or most treasured? - community-building victory? anything that made you feel attached to the people around you in a good and life-affirming way

I was Drinking mostly red wine, but also some Modelo

German Shepard. She's about 5 but still has the energy of a puppy, which is a lot for me- I just adopted her from a family member who couldn't care for her anymore

The staple dish/dishes is curries. Once you can think about curries as a base to iterate on, i can make a meal out of almost anything on hand. Chickpeas or lentils both work really well, along with spices, coconut milk, canned tomatoes and whatever vegetables etc I have on hand. And I can generally make enough for several meals. Serve it over rice, on toast, or wrapped in a tortilla

One of the only times I have felt much positive community or hope in general was actually a small local show where I saw some extremely rednecked loggers drinking beer and dancing with visibly queer folks, everyone realizing they have more in common than they realized (including that rent is too damn high). Made me wonder what would be possible if we actually had community spaces

Thanks for the questions btw comrade
