Yep those are my go-to first recs as well. CN is especially good for tearing down the walls of typical news media framing and language and also a good counter to any of Robert's takes on foreign policy, the USSR, China, etc.
I tried to listen to btb once but was hit with a literal ad—not a podcast style ad a la Revolutions, but a something you’d hear on the radio—and noped the fuck out immediately
Make sure you also check out his series on the Portland protests. There’s not a better record of all the events of that protest than his reporting.
