It's bad that people have to pay some scumbag landlord for a basic human right, correct.
I know this sucks for the mod and admin teams, but it's so funny to me that these guys are wasting so much of their time to shout into the void.
On a subreddit I modded we had a troll who would come up with really intricate ways to piss off the community, but he had a few common tricks he used that we caught with automoderator. It's so funny to see someone who clearly wrote a 7 paragraph thing himself for this one troll, including random Latin sentences, only to be caught immediately by a bot.
I guess it's bad if people pay for housing now.
🌎👨🚀🔫👨🚀 Always has been
Yes actually. Housing, Food, Healthcare.
These three things should be free for everyone everywhere.
Yglesias needs to shut up and go back to telling us to fuck more
“It’s bad if people pay for housing now” is an absolutely baby-brained response to the simple fact that the people who need this money have already spent the last check.
anyone know what the actual deal is with the stimulus checks? pretty sure I heard that the $1400 biden check is a one-time thing
Yeah, the bill overall is actually a huge improvement over the previous ones, they're extending unemployment and eviction protections until September, they're also lifting some of the stimulus cheque requirements so that adult dependents are eligible (students, people with disabilities living with their parents). Honestly it was a major fault to do the $1400+$600 thing right now because the discussion would otherwise be very positive for the Dems right now.
