Unfortunately I need to find new masks. I don’t know if they changed the fit, or I just haven’t noticed for some reason, but I’m realizing the masks I’ve been wearing are too big for my face. I’m in the market for some new masks and I’m wondering what brand/types people have been using (n95s).

i really like the 3M Aura 9205+ They are the comfiest and actually seal around my nose unlike the black one's like Joe is donning in the comm banner.

I'm also on the 9205+ train. The only thing I don't like is that the rubber bands wear out and pull on my hair when I take them off. The 9210 uses elastic cloth-like bands which seems less likely to do so.

unlike the black one's like Joe is donning in the comm banner.

Any mask that loops around your ears like Joe's mask does is not an N-95 and is probably a KN-95. N-95s will always have 2 horizontal straps that go around your head, not your ears.

I bought some directly from 3M's website: https://3m.com/3M/en_US/p/dc/v101143932

They make you check a box saying

I acknowledge these products are for industrial/occupational use only, and not for consumer sale or use, and verify I am an industrial/occupational user.

but whatever, corporations are people, so we count.

If you do want to buy from Amazon, the one in the 3M Store is https://amazon.com/dp/B09FM2P1KF

I use these as well. I went looking for 9206 at Home Depot yesterday but they didn't carry them. Like to give them a shot tho.

The 3m Auras are by far the most comfortable. The most common complaint I hear is that people have trouble getting them on in the first place. Once they're on they seal really well and don't fog up my glasses or smush the end of my nose in.

I play a certain sport indoors and it gets clogged with moisture after a couple hours and starts really restricting my breathing. I don't imagine there's really anything to be done about that is there?

      3m Aura

      SECONDING THESE.

I do know a couple people who they don't fit well, so your mileage may vary. But god, those are so much better than any other mask I've used. Very comfortable, and requires no effort to stop it from leaking. Most other masks are sharply creased at the nose, and no matter what you do there's a little fucking channel formed by the metal band crease that shoots a needle of air directly into your eyeballs - or even worse, your glasses.

The auras are packed flat, no noseband crease, and they fold out to go over your nose and chin.

I've been using ProGear N95s for the last year, which do not make my glasses fog. I caught RSV a year or so ago when using Powecom KN-95s, which did make my glasses fog, and ProGear N95s seem like a big improvement over that.

No complaints from me, but an older member of my family says they have trouble breathing when wearing ProGear N95s, so I'm going to give 3M Aura 9205+ N95s a try.

Update: The older member of my family was using the same mask for a month, that's why they were having trouble breathing out of it. ProGear N95s breath fine

I’ve just been using these KN95s from lord-bezos-amused

They’re fine. My lab has KF94s and they’re way more comfortable but I don’t feel like they have a good seal, idk if it’s the brand or my beard or what. The KN95s I get a much better seal, but it hurts my ears after a bit.

If you've got access to a 3d printer, I found those ear saver clips worked pretty well when I was using the kn95s.

I like the KF94 masks because the fit is better for most faces. I prefer this model because of the strap adjustment:
