Having a domestic spy agency to fight extremists at home works pretty shit for my country, given that we've got the highest per capita numbers for people murdered by nazis in all of Europe. Might have something to do with spy agencies being notoriously full of nazis. Can't say for sure, though, the files about agents who possibly helped a cell of nazi terrorists shoot muslims are classified for the next 130 years.
